What to Expect

How long are sessions?

How many weeks will we meet?

How much should I expect to pay?

At the core of our work is collaboration. We’ll identify clear goals together, track your progress, and adjust as needed so you feel supported every step of the way.

Fees & Billing

My standard session fee is $175 for a 50-minute individual, couple, or family session (please contact me for current rates and any adjustments). Payment is expected at the time of service via cash, check, credit card, or HSA/FSA (if applicable). I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on financial need – please inquire if this applies to you.

Private Pay/Self-Pay

I operate as a private-pay practice, meaning clients pay directly for services at the time of the appointment. This approach offers several practical benefits for many individuals and families:   - Greater privacy and control over information: Because no insurance claims are submitted by my office, there is no requirement to to provide a formal diagnosis for billing purposes. Your personal health information remains between you and me, without routine sharing with third-party payers. - Enhanced flexibility: Sessions can focus fully on your goals without external session limits, authorization requirements, or restrictions on treatment approaches. - Simpler administrative process: No prior authorizations, claims processing , or explanations of benefits (EOBs) to manage.   Many clients appreciate this model for the added confidentiality and autonomy it provides, especially when seeking support for personal growth, relationship issues, life transitions, or other concerns where privacy is a priority.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement Option

I am happy to provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) upon request that you may submit to your insurance company for possibly out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan's terms. Please note that superbills include a diagnosis code (ICD-10), as required by most insurers to process claims. This means submitting the superbill could result in a diagnosis being added to your insurance records. I do not bill insurance directly.

If you have any questions about how this fits your situation or would like to discuss payment options during a consultation, feel free to reach out.
